As contractors, we take pride in delivering technically demanding projects with precision, efficiency and durability in mind. A strong example of our capability is our ongoing construction of Silversands Beach Residency, an 11 storey residential development along the Nyali coastline in Mombasa.An ambitious project that brings together structural complexity, coastal exposure challenges and high end architectural features within a planned two year delivery period.

From the onset our approach has been guided by careful planning and a deep understanding of the coastal environment. Building near the ocean requires enhanced durability measures and we have prioritized this through the use of high performance, corrosion resistant materials alongside strict quality control processes. Detailed site assessments informed our foundation and structural solutions, ensuring stability and long term performance under coastal conditions.

The superstructure was executed using a reinforced concrete system with high level of coordination between structural works and building services. One of the defining features of this development is the rooftop swimming pool, which we constructed as a monolithic slab. This element required a high degree of technical precision to manage water loads, maintain structural integrity and achieve a fully watertight system. Specialized waterproofing solutions and rigorous testing protocols were implemented to ensure durability and long term performance.

The project has progressed efficiently through all major structural and service installation phases and is now at the finishing stage. Architectural finishes, final MEP installations and commissioning works are currently underway with close attention being paid to quality, detailing and overall project presentation.

Despite the logistical and environmental challenges associated with the coastal location including exposure to saline conditions and weather variability we have consistently met key milestones through proactive planning and responsive project management. The project remains on track for completion within the scheduled two year timeline.

This progress has been driven by a dedicated and experienced team of project managers, engineers, site supervisors and  subcontractors working collaboratively to uphold high standards of execution.
